Eh...they can all gang up on it! LoL These beams scale out to 8". Big enough to keep the drill press from tipping over. Hahaha!

This thread is a scream! Brilliant work Bucky! That drill press stand does look a bit unbalanced. I think you need more of a crosspiece on that for stability.

The bottom piece will be bolted to the floor. I built it as square and centered as I could get it. After I mount the drill, if it looks wrong, I'll build something different. I have another idea in mind, but it's a last resort kinda thing. Lol

Here's a mockup of the drill press and grinder in position: The base of the actual drill press is a little wider than the beam it sits on. It appears that this stuff is leaning to the left. Don't know where that's coming from! The parts are sitting upright on the bench! LOL Does the drill stand still look heavyhanded? Comments are welcome. I still have time to change directions.

MINION'S GARAGE isn't even up and running, yet, and is already needing an expansion! So....out comes the DREMEL:

I have another of the garage kits, so I took the base pieces from that to do the expansion. I cut the front flanges off, so I can mate up the bases: Now, maybe all 24 MINIONS, and the tools, and a model can fit in this garage! LOL

The turned I beam at the top makes it look really awkward and top heavy in my opinion...
