my entry for the gb is a hobbyboss VK1602 Leopard. it's a paper panzer but on WOT so i'm looking forward to going nuts on it!

Wow I'm no longer alone in this WOT GB, cool ! Thanks for joining the troops Pete, you picked a supherb kit for it good chap ! Bucky, paper panzers are tanks that only existed on paper, designs for tanks to be built to turn the tide at the end of WWII. You can go completely nuts on the camo Pete !

"Paper panzer" is used as a term for WW2 and beyond German vehicles that existed only as plans or even mock ups at the end of the war and indeed during the war. basically anything that the mad buggers thought up can be classed as a paper panzer.

cracked the kit today and so far it's very easy to build. The tracks will take some time with separate guide horns to glue on but they look rather nice.

'Paper Panzer' reminds me,on Instagram there is a chap jakemakesthings who builds paper/cards kits,apparently his dad owns a company in Poland I think that produces such kits
