nice work on the wheels, taking the ribs off gives it that used look instead of the straight from the factory look

Jeff . Anthony .John , Guy and Pete thanks Well guys I did manage to get a little more accomplished here . This kit kit has 2 versions in it . Which is actually the parts from the original release with a few new sprues thrown in . As a result the instructions can get confusing . At first I glued the wrong engine deck cover in pace (its the one with the replicated damaged screens ). After realizing the mistake of the the wrong engine deck I broke it off and glued the other version on . unlimited image hostingNext was attaching the pe for the engine compartment screens . They are to small and pass right thru the holes . I used some plastic rod to shim the sides to give the pe a place to attach . So next was the smaller screens........ which were to large for the holes and I will file the of the sides of the pe to get them to fit . Thats about it for now . Take care and be good out there !

Thanks Pete . Good details but the attachment points on the sprue / parts make it difficult not to ruin some of it .I'm sure you have come across that also .

There was a significant gap where the cupola attached to the turret .I filled it using Perfect Plastic Putty . Its water based and I use a cotton swab for clean up with no sanding .

Wow that stuff looks like it does the trick and is easy to use... does it shrink at all when it dries?

No shrinkage Joe . I smear it on over the seam and let it dry then go over that with a damp cotton swab . You don't want to get it very wet during clean up as it will dissolve . It is very easy to work with .

How well does it take to primer and paint?
