Been working allot of extra hours and haven't had time to model. Need to put Firestone rub ons on the tires and get the primer and windows dipped in Future yet. Thanks for checking though.

Yes. They are old and tried twice, with no success. Won't be trying the rest.

Have you ever tried decals on tires? I have a lot of Good Year tire decals, but I've never tried to put any on.

Yes. I used them on the Corvette build to put the blue line Good Years on. Very hard to do and you have to seal them after. The pains we take, too make these models look more 1:1.

I have used them before also and they are hard to get right for sure!!! Not one of my favorite things to do...

I know several recent kits have redline and whitewall decals for the tires, as well as white and yellow GoodYear markings for NASCAR.

They don't go on vinyl and rubber tires very well either.

Ain't that the truth Bruce... I threw a set away after trying for a half hour to get them on straight...

Some kits in the past had self-adhesive whitewalls. I used some of those when I was a young 'un! I think, maybe some aftermarket stripes like that are available.

Monogram had some tires with snap-in whitewalls made from plastic. You could paint those any color you wanted!

I have a few kits with those, and I have some extras in the spare tire bin.
