Wow, what amazing photography! That one truck in the pic fifth from the bottom looks like an inter-dimensional doorway to another dimension. Cool!

I like the ladybug hiding in the lichen shot. Thanks Bruce,I only noticed it when I zoomed in,I think it was hibernating and the lichen had been blown down as it was waving about on a Sami strand so afterwards I moved it to a sheltered spot, maybe it will survive

They are pretty hardy and great for the garden, as their larva is predatory to other insects, like aphids.

Ladybugs themselves love aphids. I remember we used to buy a bag of ladybugs in Minnesota that were released in our garden and over my mother's rose bushes. I love ladybugs!

Beautiful shots Jed! More walks in that kind of nature with the dogs will certainly help smooth that roughness out and improve your health. I wish I could walk in scenery like that.

I'm pretty lucky Duke, within five minutes walk we have a nature reserve which also has an awful lot of history if you know where to look from medieval earthen boundary banks to clay pits, coppiced woods etc,in fact my part of Sussex is superb
