Thanks Bruce,I only noticed it when I zoomed in,I think it was hibernating and the lichen had been blown down as it was waving about on a Sami strand so afterwards I moved it to a sheltered spot,maybe it will survive

I remember we used to buy a bag of ladybugs in Minnesota that were released in our garden and over my mother's rose bushes. I love ladybugs!

Took Mother In-Law for a visit to our local Llama farm,whilst scratching the head of the Rheindeer it knocked it's antlers on the gate,you can see in the pictures what happened,I was hoping to keep it but had to give it to one of the keepers (a keeper in more ways than one!!)

I'm pretty lucky Duke,within five minutes walk we have a nature reserve which also has an awful lot of history if you know where to look from medieval earthen boundary banks to clay pits,coppiced woods etc,in fact my part of Sussex is superb
