How does the driver get in there?? there's a top hatch for access to the drivers compartment. For such a big kit the parts count is very modest but the detail is all there. Better not be afraid of tight spaces...

Beautiful job so far an a fantastic kit. I just wish someone would shrink this down to my scale. I'll be watching this with interest.

cheers chaps, I've been working away at the front steering and wheel mounts and have added the very prominent hydraulic brake lines and made up a new steering damper. The steering is movable but to do this you leave off parts C3&4, the steering dampers which looked odd. So using the kit parts and some brass rod a new one was made up. Also in the kit you have to melt certain tabs to fix steering rods etc in place for it to remain workable such as D14. But the parts are not that sturdy so I would suggest fixing the steering once you have the angle you want. The brake lines are easy to knock up, I just wind fine wire around a pin then insert fine lead wire into the coil. I made up a junction on the wheel hub and put two lines into the hub. Not truly accurate but when viewed with the wheel in place it looks fine. Once the other side is done I'll decide on the wheel positions and then fix them in place.

Guitar strings come to mind, but they wouldn't conform to bending like your method. Awesome work!

Sweet! That comparison shot does show it's size well. Wait till you get the turret on it though; that will really make the Chally look small! Keep it up man! This is rocking along!

That’s a helpful comparison, and explains why this kit is so expensive. Coming along nicely too

Big and beautiful. The wiring/cabling looks perfect, these are the things that make a model stand out.
