This Model T was converted into a truck, which in turn was converted into a snowmobile. The fenders were probably removed to accommodate the second rear axle, which allowed use of tanklike treads.

There is a Mustang similar to this in my area. The guy used a Fox body Mustang coupe and put a Model A front end on it. It usually shows up at our car club cruise ins.

These aren't exactly "cool" rides if you ask me, but I thought I'd post! The background is that in October, Ole Yeller (My 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac) was totaled by an idiot texting and driving. With everything going on, the loss of the pickup truck is significant for us, so I have spent many hours looking at trucks--either new or used--to replace my truck. I ran across these two "pickup" trucks on Facebook Marketplace. (I'm actually leaning towards an 80's Ford or Chevy, but may buy new depending on the market)

Well, I'm thrilled to see you posting again! I'm sorry for your accident, I do hope you find a replacement truck soon. Those two do look like interesting vehicles; especially that second one. Nice find!

I certainly hope you fared better than the Sport Trac! I don't recognize those two vehicles you posted. Tell us what they are.

I certainly hope you fared better than the Sport Trac! I don't recognize those two vehicles you posted. Tell us what they are. Two guys in my county here in north-central Indiana decided to "make" themselves pickup trucks. The first was a Scion xB that they cut the back shell off and turned it into a pickup bed. The other is a Chevy Trailblazer where they did the same! As far as me vs the Sport Trac, that's yet to be determined! I'm still in therapy for my neck and left shoulder. The first collision aggravated my neck injury from my last major car accident 24 years ago. So, my chiropractor has been working for nearly 3 months to get the my cervical spine and left shoulder blade back where they need to be. We're close but not quite... It was an ODD accident: I was hauling 1,000 lbs of deck piers into town to give to one of my wife's coworkers around 5pm on the day in question. Traffic was a bit heavy at 2 stop lights. I got stopped, but the guy behind me broke down and said 1) he didn't have insurance, 2) the car wasn't his and 3) he didn't live in my state. So, I called the police, but while we were waiting for them to arrive on scene, this twit decides to move his vehicle. I was picking up pieces of both cars out of the road and turned around only to see the SECOND car slam into my truck. She hit me twice as hard (doing about 45 mph) and she finished off my truck--bent the rear frame over the rear axle and literally crushed the back 2' of frame. She was on her phone too. The damages came to $7,800 since the frame needs complete replacement and because the truck is 20 yrs old with 255,000 miles on it, they totaled it. I'm still salty about the whole thing!

You have to admit, this looks fun to drive.... A woman driving a 1944 Brogan Doodlebug10 HP. The “B&B Specialty Company” was an American company, located in the town of Rossmoyne (Ohio). After the end of World War II, this company wanted to join the European trend for microcars. Their first model, presented in 1946, was a three-wheeled vehicle (one wheel in front and two behind), called “Brogan” which took its name from its designer and builder, Frank Brogan, whose first project /product had been a beer dispenser. The B&B Brogan Doodlebug was a vehicle evolved from a motorcycle, so it was a small convertible two-seater car. The three-wheeler, which had no doors and no top, measured 96 inches in length and had a 66-inch wheelbase. It was capable of making a complete turn within its own length. Buyers could choose between a rear-mounted, single-cylinder Briggs & Stratton engine or a twin-cylinder Onan air-cooled engine (10hp). It could reach a top speed of between 45 and 50 mph and travel nearly 70 miles on a gallon of gas. About 30 Brogan 3-wheelers were built from 1946 to 1950.
