Hello gents I joined a group build sometime back where we needed to build a pick up of some sort. I decided to take the kit below and convert it. This thread will cover the build of the remainder of the kit, aswell as the diorama I have planned for it. The kit The inspiration Current state Ill be back later with the diorama idea so far. Really would love all input and any ideas you may have as I work my way through this.

So, the Mini truck is in the Pickup Group Build, and the Diorama for it is in this section? Sounds like a great plan to me! Show us what ya got in mind!

When creating a diorama I like to get the basic principles and dimensions drawn up in CAD to give me an idea of the direction I want to follow. I knew from the start that I wanted a peeling paint clapboard wall with rusting corrugated iron roofing. This is the rendering of my CAD drawing that I did. The basic layout is now starting to take shape.

Nice. Think you might have Graffiti on the wall?

Hey bruce
Actually have a rusted sign that will be going on the wall. Some graffitti is a good idea too.
Been looking at a set from Uschi van de rostens site that would work. Thanks for the idea.

Here is the start of the wall with sign attached and the first stages of weathering complete. A close up of the peeled paint. Let me know your thoughts.
